F/A-18C Hornet is a true multi-functional tactical carrier-based fighter of the 4th generation, which can work with equal success on ground and air targets. The aircraft has the ability to be based both on the aircraft carrier and at the airport. The Hornet is equipped with several sensors and targeting devices, which include the APG-73 multi-function radar, the ASQ-228 ATFLIR hanging infrared container and the jhmcs helmet-mounted targeting system.
