Hasegawa Mig-25 Foxbat, 1/72 Scale D Series Russian Air Force Interceptor Aircraft Model Kit/Item # 00434
MIG-25 Foxbat is a high speed interceptor fighter from the Soviet Air Force, developed to combat the US XB-70 Valkyrie supersonic bomber.
The XB-70 was changed to the development and investigation plan of only prototype aircraft in 1961, but the Soviet Union continued the high-speed fighter development plan, and the MIG-25 was completed.
The first flight is estimated to be around 1964, and it is said that the E-266, which has established numerous flight records with speed, altitude, and rise time since 1965, is the same model as the MIG-25.
The ability to climb at high altitudes and exercise performance is outstanding, and the maximum speed is attracting attention as an unmatched fighter in the world with Mach 3.
