This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit. The Wiesel airborne combat vehicle is a small tracked vehicle currently used by the German Army for paratroopers, and was named "Wiesel" (weasel) because of its small size. Development started in the 1970s, and mass production began in 1984. Of the 343 vehicles produced, 210 were of the type equipped with the BGM-71 TOW anti-tank missile. This kit from Takom features movable tracks and a main hatch that can be opened and closed after assembly. Clear parts, photo-etched parts and decals for five versions are included, as is a figure.
